I finished another item on Etsy. I had most of the photos ready. However, I needed a photo showing the three different sizes hanging from each other. Nested, or stacked, I don't really know the best term to describe it. Any ways, I set up my cheap camera on a tripod across the pool, centered and leveled. I havn't figured out what is up with the camera and the tripod. Everything is leveled until I look at the monitor screen.. In this case it seems that the camera is off level to the right. Had to ignore the spirit bubbles and set the camera level to the monitor. Only makes sense. Final results is what matters.
I took pictures every half hour starting at 3:00. Best picture came towards the end when there were no shadows from the screen enclosure and no sun glare. I just cropped the photo rather than try to remove the background. I might try that latter.

Favicons
After I finished the Etsy banner and thumbnail. I thought I might try installing a favicon on my website: robertsgarden.com. Everybody else has one, so why don"t I?
Making it was relatively easy. I took the background off the Etsy favicon and then resized to 32 bit by 32 bit png image. That was easy. One of the tricky parts was getting the RG large enough and leave some border around the outside.
Getting it into the website was a little more tricky. Finally ended up adding html tags to each page and uploading the image to the root directory every time the index page is up loaded. The favicon image is cleverly hidden behind the Facebook image on the index page.
Kind of fun solving these problems.

2014 - New Year
Thought I would activate this blog.
Spent the last two days working on my Etsy site (www.etsy.com/shop/robertsgarden). Major accomplishment with the header.
Back ground is taken from a photo of one of the Tillly Portrait Frames. The pattern is Spanish moss.
Cut the photo of th moss out of one of the other photos. Resized and fit to banner specifications. Had to repeat the image several times. So I cut and flipped the image to make the edges line up. The upper level consists of images cut from other photos by removing the background. Kind of fun.
